Internet News Sites are pushing subscribe or no access.

In the past, if you ignored the request for subscription fees or donations, you could view a few to any-and-all articles a month without slowing down.

However, news sites are getting tough now, and more and more, no subscription means NO ACCESS.

What sites have you decided to subscribe to? If Any, now or in the near future?

"Free internet" like "free beer" may become a fond memory. Or not.
Ditto for "truth" versus "facts".

Sub to zero sites and if they cut me off...ok, I'll be a happier person not knowing all the evil in the world.

Everything old is new again.

This was the way of the web back in the 90's before advertising really took off. Sites that paid their way by requiring subscriptions... though in those days it was not difficult to get past paywalls. I've not found any subscription sites that have anything I'm willing to pay for. Not sure if that's an indication of content or my cheapness....

They can find another sucker, because I'm not falling for that. There will always be another news site--free.
